The war is ending, most compat troops will be staetside on schedule.

Extraction is not an easy thing in fact it is a logisiticl nightmare. So it takes a little longer than a campaign promise big deal,

Now they are saying that Obama isd agreeing with Bush....ARRRRRGH

1. Well, didn't he?
1/3 of all combat troops in Iraq will stay in Iraq? :wtf:

At some point, this risks turning from Bush's War into Obama's War.

2. I'm not watching but I read about it on another thread. I don't like
it either. Not surprised at Rachel though.

3. They won't necessarily be stateside
they may just be shifted to Afghanistan. Obama needs to get us out of there as well.

4. Frankly I believed it was going to be longer than that
I'm surprised it's only three months, that's damn impressive. They're still coming home, that's the point.

6. what blows my mind
is that they talk about it as if he is breaking promises. Perhaps he got new info?

How soon they forget. He voted NO on the war. Now they are there and we can't just pull out with the flip of a switch. They are coming home...that's the important thing.

Not sure if the world will ever recover from preemptive war. heartbreaking.
