Now, we know from Ron Howard's campaign film that both Opie and Andy supported Barack Obama. BUT ...

Bobby still reminded me of Opie tonight. I expect him to saw, "Aw SHUCKS!" and kick his instep any second.

4. I guess my point is not to merely call Jindal names or disparage him in general ... but to say ...

... that he just doesn't seem very presidential ... barely gubernatorial!

Though that seems to be what he's like when he has a script in front of him. When there was a hurricane last year (can't remember which one it was that hit La.) ... he exuded confidence and authority while speaking off the cuff. Maybe he'd be better to work without a script if he doesn't want to seem immature and naive (which is what his scripted speaking style makes me think of him)
