Jindal 2012, 2016, 2020...

Gingrich tells CBS' “60 Minutes” the Louisiana Governor will automatically be a major contender for the presidency for “many, many years.”

Says in interview airing Sunday: “Remember, he'll be the same age as John McCain -- 34 years from now.”

2. ...but he already is just as dumb!
Yup... he's got decades of contendership left.

Think of it. Anyone that can make Palin look bright has truly accomplished something.

4. Congrats to Gingrich on his comprehensive grasp of mathematics
So he has 34 years to continue disappointing the republican party?

5. Good luck with that. He may be a policy wonk in the Bill Clinton mode . . .
But he showed no such thing yesterday.

Instead, he showed no compunction against trotting out the fact-free Republican flapdoodle that's driven his party deep into the weeds instead of actually responding to Obama's address. Not to mention that 34 years of speech coaching is the minimum requirement to correct the delivery impairment that was so painfully on display last night.

If he's such a smart guy, he sure hid it effectively. If he's such a smart guy, why couldn't he read the prerelease transcript of Obama's remarks and actually counter its themes with cogent competing ideas? Oh, I forgot, articulating ideas'd wrongfoot him with the rest of his party.

Or maybe he was afraid of alienating the 'Lican base by making them think he's able to count his pocket change and get the same answer twice.

7. He's about due for his own "Keating scandal", then
There's no such thing as an "unblemished record" for a long-term Republican.

They just can't help themselves.
