You see, the GOP is out of power. They aren't in charge of anything right now. The Democrats are, and millions of Americans are suffering through their policies:
- trillions of dollars burned through in spending bills told they would stimulate the economy, when they really were just pet projects that put us in further debt.
- The FEW projects that are designed to start in 2009 won't even be ready to start for six months, and only 24% of the bill is "supposed" to be allocated this year (Believe me, this is the government; it'll be less than 20%). But this was SO important that no Democratic legislator even bothered reading the entire bill before it was voted upon.
- nominating two or three people for one cabinet post because the president keeps nominating corrupt politicians and tax cheats and they have to resign. Not to mention one of the Democratic leaders in the House is a known tax cheat, and a Dem leader in the Senate is getting underhanded loan deals for houses he wouldn't be able to afford otherwise.
And here's the kicker: Our tax cheating Treasury Secretary - a man who was even compensated for his tax losses by the IMF and STILL didn't pay his taxes - just announced he's going after international tax cheats. FUCK. OUTTA. HERE. Maybe he should go after the one he sees in the mirror first.
- The stock market in the last two months has dropped worse than than anytime in its history. So, our president moves the goalposts, saying we shouldn't use that as an indicator of economic progress. *LOL* Once again, FOH.
- Adversaries in the foreign realm take him as the biggest joke since Jimmy Carter. Iran plays him for a fool even before he takes office, and Russia clowns him today.
And Obama hasn't even been in office a month and a half yet. This is supposed to be change?!!????!?
Meanwhile, the conservatives are preparing for almost guaranteed gains in both houses in 2010. CPAC last weekend was it's largest in history, and was covered nationally, there has been tea parties and tax protests happening in almost every state in the country. The grassroots are rising up, and they didn't need the Soros political machine to do it. By 2012 this mess will be over and grown folks can step in to clean up the messes Obama has already made in less than two months. His days are numbered.
These spending bills are going to be labeled a failure. The question is only when, not if.
Hell; half of the shit from the bills aren't even gonna be spent until 2011. If there was anything positive coming from this it won't be felt on the economy for about 5-10 years down the road. This shit was pure deception.
Obama's hoping that the markets correct themselves on their own, and just like Clinton, he'll take credit for something he did nothing to help. In the meantime, he'll try to use Limbaugh as a boogeyman to distract everyone for how much his policies suck.
The truth is, he's had more of a political advantage than any president in modern political history. He's got a loyal Dem base in both houses, even to the point where the Senate is filibuster-proof (and that's not disputable; when the shit hits the fan he can always rely on Specter, Snowe, Collins, and Voinovich to be on his side, to the point where they might as well be Democrats themselves).
He doesn't need one single conservative vote. Not one. So why jump on a talk radio show host who's only been doing what he's been doing for 20 years: talk?
To distract from his fuckups. It's as simple as that.
The GOP doesn't need a leader; they need a message. And Obama and the Dems are going to give them one.
*smh* Truly delusional.
