Carville "denies" plot with Begala, Emanuel to take on Limbaugh (wink wink) |
|
Edited on Thu Mar-05-09 08:04 AM by wyldwolf
Political strategist and CNN commentator James Carville has denied he is involved in a Democratic conspiracy to portray Rush Limbaugh as the leader of the GOP. The POLITICO reports Carville along with Paul Begala and Rahm Emanuel have been plotting on Limbaugh for months. Carville says Limbaugh deserves "credit" for the so-called conspiracy, not him, Begala or Emanuel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR40kHXBeh8http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2009/03/carville_denies_involvement_limbaugh_conspiracy.html

limbaugh is the head of the gop. A "portrayal" is not necessary, nor is a conspiracy. Who is more suited to be the head of the republican party then a three time divorced, drug addict, college dropout, social misfit liar who has no friends and who has had drug addiction problems. Who could better represent conservative values in America today?
I don't understand Carville's denials.

6. Draft dodger Limbaugh is also agressively ASSERTING his GOP 'leadership' |
|
by bombasting it all over the place, and making Michael 'Aluminum' Steele & other GOP Chickenhawks, kiss the ASS PIMPLE that he used to get his military deferment so he could avoid serving the very same America that he and his GOP cronies now want to FAIL.
Those are the facts.

Even if Carville and Begala advocated going after Rush for the DSCC, this is old school, and the Politico piece was weak...seemed to try to paint a huge conspiracy theory and sympathy for the repugs. The Obama white house was just making use of what was given to them, and labor groups went after Rush's comment after the Repugs voted no on the stimulus. Just another Politico piece designed to give the reporters air time in the guise of a "scoop".

7. I agree, I don't understand what the 'story' is here. Whether or not |
|
this was orchestrated by Carville and Begala, it doesn't change what Limbaugh and Steele said.

9. Oh he is SOOOO "guilty"! LOVE IT! Brilliant Mr. Carville! |
|
Also sounds like he may have some polling data that Rush's popularity may actually be going DOWN "We have some new data that we'll be releasing soon ... I dunno, maybe he's MORE popular, who knows..."
Yeah .... he seems REAL concerned that Rush is more popular. lol

11. Begala was on CNN last night cracking me up. |

They know they got the GOP good with this. Say what you will about Rahm, Begala, or Carville but they always have taken on the GOP unabashedly. I love Rahm being the bad cop and Obama floats above it all.
