Sorry to bring her up again but it is just so typical of the Republicans.

"Let’s lay out the facts. Alaskan schools can use all the money they can get, from whatever source. Alaska is at the bottom in dropout rates according to a report last year. Additionally, special education funds are badly needed, as the state has identified fetal alcohol syndrome as one of its biggest educational problems. Palin’s decision to refuse funds may look good to conservatives across the country, but it is clear that they ignore important needs of Alaskans today. So Palin is backpedaling.

Backpedaling? Now Sarah Palin’s office is announcing she’s not really refusing the funds, but she’s leaving it all up to the legislature instead. Look at that, she’s going to place the blame on someone else. Isn’t that sweet. And isn’t that so Republican.

The bottom line here is that Sarah Palin thought to put her national political ambitions ahead of the needs of the people of Alaska. Now after getting some harsh feedback from Alaskans, she’s changing her tune and flip flopping. "

1. She might not get re-elected
They run someone good against her who says they actually want to be Govenor of Alaska not President of the United States...she might lose.

good. Then again I am not going to rely on the logic of Alaskans who barely elected a new Senator after the last, Stevens was convicted of corruption. The state has serious problems which Gov. Palin has not seen fit to address.

3. She is a narcist.
She's basically stating,

To hell with the state of Alaska
and the people who inhabit it.

Her political ambitions come first.

:(

4. These Governors are missing the point. Their consituents paid taxes
just like every other American. How would you feel?? Your tax money
will be given to other Americans but you will not get any because
your Govenor is playing political games.
