When bush was President, I thought the Paulson bailout giveaway plan was shit.
But now that Obama is President, I love the Paulson bailout giveaway plan and I think Geithner is just the man to make us think that shit sandwich is really a delicious reverse oreo.

Anyone who disagrees with me or dares to criticize ANY aspect of the Obama Administration or its plans or policies is a pathetic, strawman-humping, Naderite, Palinesque, McCain-loving, disrupting, faux concern trolling, limbaugh-ish, cheney-ish, dirty rotten Obama hater. Their SHOCK and IMPATIENCE are loathsome. How dare they have an opinion? They should take their filthy ideas and go live in a septic tank. They are right wing, extreme leftist, socialist communists.

Whew! Now I feel like I belong.

"Partly" the same as Bush is fair to say though.

This is what is so, so, disheartening. I know most people want to simply "believe" in something because they think the mere fact of believing is the same as doing.

It was a "pleasure" to be insulted, vilified, terrorized, and dismissed by diehard Bush supporters for 8 years. And now, voila! I get to be insulted, vilified, terrorized and dismissed by diehard Obama supporters.

The more things "change" the more they stay the same. Cult personality is dangerous, period.

Why on earth should supporters of President Obama bother treating you differently than we treat the Freepi?

45. Wow... with reasoning like that?
If you have to resort to straw men to support your positions, color me less than impressed. Where oh where did I equate Obama to Bush in my previous post?

But thanks for proving my point though. At the end of the day, what I was equating the ravid Bush supporters with the ravid supporters of Obama. Incidentally if you substitute "Obama" for "Bush" and "freepi" for "traitor" I have heard your "why on earth should supporters of President Obama bother treating you differently than we treat the Freepi?" argument verbatim a few years back when I was opposing the build up to the Iraq war.

As I said, the more things change... the more they stay the same.

So that is all you guys have? Intimidation and intellectual dishonesty as your debate tools? Wow...

44. Obama is a corporatist -vested in reviving a failed, ethically bankrupt, unsustainable system

Trying to resurrect this criminal system is a criminal act...

It is NOT 'change we can believe in'.

I put aside my logical concerns of Obama, and crossed my fingers, and I knew better. The democratic party is too emeshed with the corporate system to create the change we really need. I know it now. I won't do this again.

And now that Obama is President, I think that the Geithner bailout is regrettable, but probably necessary.

The difference lies in that Paulson did a crap job of implementing the bailout, and the jury is still out on Geithner, but I am holding him to a higher standard.
