1. So the Queen essentially has the same musical tastes as my Grandmother?
Good to know.

12. As do I. I'm an Off-Broadway composer/lyricist, in point of fact.
But I tend to listen to the newer stuff. The most recent recording on the CD, from "Rent," is more than a decade old.

14. I like the older stuff, too. Frank Loesser, Rogers and Hart, and, IMO, the 2 best
musicals ever written, "Gypsy" and "Guys and Dolls".

20. Absolutely! BTW, I'm not much of a Rogers/Hammerstein gal. But Rogers/Hart
were the perfect pair.

...since I believe that playlist was taken from the two-CD compilation "The Best of Broadway," or some such.

they don't have one like this. It's unique.

26. The news break I saw didn't mention the rare book, only the iPod.
This was an ABC news break. Now I feel bad because at the time, I thought, "An iPod? After those DVDs?" I didn't know about the book.

28. The Queen likes showtunes. She wanted a Video ipod.
She only had an audio ipod that was given to her in 2005. The new ipod also has video of her last visit to the U.S.

My reaction was a personal aversion to show tunes and country music.
