5. And the President loaded it with some of America's best music.
Unlike rock, which is pretty much international now, Broadway musicals are still considered a uniquely American artform. It delves into the heart. Heck, when Joss Whedon made a musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer it gave the characters depth and meaning that you never found in the rest of the series.

I shudder to think what Bush would have loaded on an iPod gift. Charlie Daniels and speeches by the Ku Klux Klan leader on Howard Stern's show, Daniel Carver.

10. It makes a nice desktop pattern...
...especially when someone who is a Republican takes a break at work and comes back to see their desktop changed from a Sarah Palin pose...

Right-mouse click and save as desktop...

11. I had a Repug work colleage not get what the whole thing meant...
Apparently he wasn't willing to admit that the Queen got an iPod. He actually thought Apple did the ad and it was all staged. I showed him the original Photoshop file that I DID and he then said "it makes America look bad that we'd give an iPod to somebody like the Queen"...

I wanted to slap the guy... but just laughed at him.
