Homemade window sign I saw on a car yesterday. The koolaid is still in circulation.
McCain Palin campaign sticker on the right side of the rear window. Homemade "You Can't Blame Bush Anymore" sign on the left.

We were parked next to one another at Starbucks. I couldn't resist since we were both returning to our cars at the same time and walking pretty much right next to each other. I asked, "Do you have kids?" He looked puzzled, but told me he had two girls. So I pointed to his sign and said, "then you're aware your sign is beyond silly since we both know it takes ten times longer to clean up a mess than it does to make one. Enjoy your coffee."

I suspect he's left the sign up, but I feel better for addressing such idiocy without losing my cool. My first instinct when I saw the stupid sign was to rip it off.

1. LOL! I love your comment about cleaning up messes.
I'll bet that the same guy regularly blames Clinton for everything under the sun.

3. Without a doubt. My kids rooms popped immediately into my mind...
when I saw the sign. As well as shadowing my middle child with a dustpan, mop and scrub brush for a year and a half. Destructo-Boy we called him. Otherwise a snappy remark would never have happened and I'd have swallowed hard and fumed in my car at having to park next to such a fool.

2. Applause, applause! THAT's what we need to do. Be courageous enough to address this shit politely.

5. Holy shit, I think he's right.

If he wouldn't have made a sign and put it on his car I would have never figured it out.

Bush who? After a few months, everything is Obama's fault. He is so correct.

:wtf:

6. my brother in law has a palin 2012 sticker on his (my sister's) van.
i can't help but wonder what idiot would want that woman anywhere near the nukuler codes. at least bush went to college! even if he barely passed. not that there is anything wrong with not going to college... there are plenty of smart folks who never went to college. but the idea that a person with no intellectual curiosity could be our president!!! bush went to college, but didn't seem curious or very eager to know. I wouldn't trust that woman to be my child's teacher much less a president!!

But as for not being able to blame bush anymore.... I like how some want to take credit for anything 'good' that happens, but anything bad is someone else's fault. like they want to claim iraq as a victory for bush. but obama is president now, so if things are going well shouldn't it be his win.... i mean if there is a statute of limitations on blaming bush for the finanical mess, then the same should be true for any perceived good things???

10. Honestly I just can't see it. Brain shuts down and I have zero capacity for...
an objective perspective and trying to see it from the other side.

Anyone who is already advocating for Palin in 2012 needs a straitjacket.

14. A car in my work parking lot has a sticker that says "I voted for Hillary and I'll vote for McCain".
I don't know who's car it is. They have 2 other stickers: Hillary For President" and "A woman's place is in the White House". I'm going to find out who it is and walk up and say "Puma?" and see if I get a reaction.
