His visit was a huge success, I think, in beginning to restore America's image overseas.

What is the most pressing issue he needs to address upon returning home?

I'll tell you what I think a little later in the thread.

11. Norah O'Donnell reported on The Chris Matthews Show (Sun)
that the dog was coming soon and would be presented by a very good friend, or someone very close to the family (aka Ted Kennedy, me thinks) and it is not a "pound dog."

So now we can look forward to the fools screaming because this dog is not from a pound.

And might I add, that dog in your picture is absolutely adorable!

13. That's a Port. Water Dog
the breed they're supposed to be getting.

I know what you mean about the screaming. I don't see that the Obamas have a choice given Malia's allergies. That breed most likely doesn't show up at shelters very often.

14. I think shelter/rescue dogs are great. I have one, but I also have
two from reputable breeders. I think people should be able to choose their own dogs without pressure of outsiders. Puppy mills or pet stores are the exception, IMO, because they're horrid and need to be put out of business.

Dogs from reputable breeders deserve good homes just like shelter dogs.

I can't wait to see him/her!

10. Address the issue of people losing their jobs and killing others
Manas Ucar (Lost his job, killed 4 then himself)
Karthik Rajaram (Lost his job, killed 6 then himself)
Bruce Pardo (Lost his job, killed 9 then himself)
Ervin Lupoe (Lost his job, killed 6 then himself)
Jiverly Wong (Lost his job, killed 13 then himself)

Between 08 and now these 5 "men" killed a total of 38 innocent people since losing their jobs. This is something the president and mental health officials need to address or we're going to see a lot more of these.

after all, after the "disgrace" of "touching the Queen" and "bowing" and "acting like a rock star (again)" among all the other SCANDALS - did I mention he USED A TELELPROMPTER! - I'm sure the "Democrat" Party has to rush and look for a replacement to run in 2012!!!

Look what it did for President Frampton... although it did pretty much overshadow the rest of his administration. Hardly anyone remembers when he was president!

22. Good question.
It seems like it is time to start the next item on the agenda. His budget is working its way through Congress. He has made clear his intentions in Afghanistan, much to my displeasure. I wonder what is next.

I'd like to see something done to improve the job numbers. We need to get some Healthcare reform, prison reform, environmental progress, repeal DADT.
