I say that as many people here as possible attend a TeaBagger protest tomorrow armed with nothing more then a Camera (video or still) and a keen eye. I say we go, sit back and observe and document these teabaggers and report back any and all protesting done that has absolutely nothing to do with what these idiots claim to be protesting about.
Things like:
Obama's nationality and validity to be president Obama's race or religion (Aka calling him a muslim) Fear that Obama will take their guns Protesting over stem cells and abortion Gay Marriage and Obama's desire for a secular Government Any further rhetoric about how unsafe the US is under Obama Anyone expressing the desire to start a violent revolt against Obama and or Congress Death threats against Obama. Any other anti-Liberal spew that is evoked (aka the crazy guy on The Ed Show's psycho talk segment who wanted everyone to pull their kids out of college because college was brainwashing them to be liberals, followed by the onlooker who yelled "yeah and burn all the books!")
I say if the MSM is going to promote these teabaggers and their little parties and try to say that these were valid protest from non partisan americans who were only there to complain about increased Government spending, bailouts, and raising taxes on the rich (I think that's what these are about), then we should prove otherwise. I say if Faux news wants to make this out to be some huge grassroots movement that is gaining moments and attracting millions of people, We show otherwise.
I say we show with video or still photo proof that these individual tea parties tomorrow aren't flooded with thousands of american voices crying out for fiscal responsibility. That they are actually small groups of anti Obama protesters who are much more angry about his socially liberal policies and still pissed that a black man won the election. I say we show what these parties are really all about, the seedy underbelly of the "tea bagger movement"
Then we pass along this evidence to as many media outlets as we can (ireport the fuck out of CNN if you have too) So we can debunk any and all positive media attention these parties might get tomorrow.
I'm going to the one in my town, all though living in a "college town" in Northern California, I doubt it will be that massive an event. Also because it's at 11am-1pm and i saw on the organizers facebook page, people bitching about having to go to work and not being able to attend.
So who's with me?
