2. I'd like to know why Sen. Whitehouse didn't refute Bond's claims about the Los Angeles plot |

Just now on Hardball Kit Bond made that point 3 times with nobody saying a peep. I thought the plot was foiled in 2002 and we started torturing in 2003. Maybe I've got my timeline wrong. But this is what Olbermann has been hammering at for a couple days.

4. I was wondering the same thing the entire time. Listening to that ass-hat spew totally false |

information without even getting called on it or asked if he was sure those were the facts was driving me crazy.
They are all pathological. They have convinced themselves of the outcome that will best benefit their side and have made a full sprint to the finish line with those lies. They sit on TV and lie through their teeth, repeatedly about this stuff.
His claim that 100,000 US troops have been water boarded so it isn't torture, and that when applied to those in the prisons abroad that it is administered under the same regulations and restrictions as when done to our troops is absolute crap.

5. Whitehouse tried to interject when Bond said it the first time |
|

Later on, he did say that he was waiting to drill down to the truth of the matter about certain assertions. So, to give him credit, he did say that. But unless you didn't hear what we've been hearing I don't think people would make the connection.
I guess being on the same committee made Whitehouse take a tactful approach. Pfui. All the collegiality of the Senate can get in the way sometimes.
