3. I'm not sure, she's not sure, but they say she has a job. Let's see
what Americorps can do with an urban planner.

4. That's great. Urban renewal is a big priority of Pres. Obama's so her skill set is needed.
You must be so proud. Do you know where she'll be located?

She may have to put on some weight or else a diver's belt to hold her own against the wind in Buffalo, though!

Bill Clinton signed the bill.

Much more recently, Congress passed the Edward M. Kennedy Save America Bill, covering some projects. Obama signed it. Funding, of course, is with tax dollars.

The Americorps program, of course, was based on the Peace Corps envisioned by JFK and implemented by the now ailing Sargeant Shriver, followed by the "domestic peace corps" VISTA, created by Democratic Congress as part of LBJ's War on Poverty (one of our very first highly publicized fake wars, if not the first).

Props to all. And all the best to your daughter. I hope she enjoys the heck out of it.

Congratulations to your daughter!

(hmmm, wonder if there are opportunities for older job seekers?? People near retirement age have been getting laid off in droves)
