I suggest that you go back to unconditionally supporting our president |
|
I remember this line being posted of free-republic. Some poster was ranting about immigration or free trade. Another poster suggested that they know thy enemy - it is the socialist - and get back to supporting the President without hesitation or thought.
I go to fr when there is neo-con v. moderate debate going on. now we are in power and can fight the moderate or neo-con debate right here..

3. I have yet to see one person on DU make that same suggestion. |
|
It sure gets a lot of attention, though, for something that doesn't exist.

4. You can agree with someone, while offering opinions on different topics. |
|
Sometimes it inspires thought.

there are a shrinking # of Bushbots and those who think Bush was a "socialist RINO".

8. I am unconditionally supporting Obama |
|
I am a radical. A socialist. But as far as real life choices, we just have reelect Obama or elect the GOP nominee.. I'll stick with Obama. All I want is for him to get re-elected. And I hope he doesn't cheat on his wife. I dare not dream for more.

over 45 years, I have to agree. Promises made, count for nothing. Action on those promises merit support.

13. When you unconditionally support someone |
|
you're no longer a thinking individual. I can think of times in history when that has happened on a large scale, and generally the result has not been pretty.
I will not support someone, conditionally or unconditionally, who wants to wage aggressive war. It's that simple. I don't care who he is.

14. the same is true of the opposite. If you do not see this, your mind is closed |
|
unconditional support or enmity is equivalent in degree of blind foolishness. No parties on this board unconditionally support Obama. If you don't see the dichotomy, you should consider your own bias.

Our president is doing a great job. Don't forget, he inherited this mess and he is able to do his part to fix it- but we must remember to do ours too.

17. I support our President and like him but disagree with him at times. I think that is pretty |

reasonable and normal. Supporting him without question and attacking him without question both bother me.
