I've been doing some googles on the internets and can't find it.
I have seen a few crumbs, though, and I think it would be interesting to read the entire hearing.
This a short reference I found:
*snip*
It got to the point where during her Sept. 30, 1997, Judiciary Committee questioning, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) mentioned rumors that she refused to stand when Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas addressed a 1992 meeting with 2nd Circuit judges.
"Did you see fit to stand and applaud?" Sessions demanded.
"He was Supreme Court justice for our circuit," she said. "I stood."
"That series of questions, I think, were symbolic of a set of expectations that some people had
I must be liberal," she said. "It is stereotyping, and stereotyping is perhaps the most insidious of all problems in our society today." (Sotomayor)

I find it interesting that she already has already gone "ten rounds" with some of the same Repubs back then who still sit on the Judiciary Committee now. So far, I've come up with Sessions, Hatch, Grassley, and Kyl (and Specter, but hopefully he'll be playing for the our team this time around).
So, I'd like to review the 1997 hearing to see if they will try to recycle some of the BS questions like the one above.
Any suggestions on where we might be able to find it?
No doubt C-Span will be airing it at some point, but I'd still like to find a transcript.
