Pat Buchannan's racism never ceases to amaze me. |
|
MSNBC needs to drop him as a commentator.

1. I think he'll be fired soon. I'm waiting for him to say the N word or the S word for Sotomayor. |
|
Then it's done. I feel it coming out eventually.

2. And yet they keep him on TV. |
|
That's what amazes (and disappoints) me....
It used to be easy to shame racists. Since Reagan, however, they've been emboldened.

3. He's on TV because he's "entitled" to be there |
|
just as George Will is "entitled" -even though he lies with impunity in his columns, and hasn't had an original thought in 20 years.

9. It's the olde fashioned white male affirmative action that |
|
has run this country from the beginning.
Get into Yale because daddy went there, your a legacy. Get on the board of directors because of family connections, your networking.
They call it different names but essentially it is the privileged class keeping the usurpers to power down, namely you and me!
That is why when we fight back through justified means like affirmative action they hate it so, We are over stepping our place. Becoming "uppity". if you will!

it is so GREAT to see his ignorant butt being beaten up by Lawrence O'Donnell and others. He shows us all what a foolish racist he is.

13. Yesterday I just shut off Matthews all together because Pat had like 15 minutes to rant |
|
Unfortunately it's enough to keep me from tuning in at all to his show, too bad really. I doubt that I am the only one either.

16. After he defended LePen in 2002 (first time I encountered him), nothing from him can amaze me |
|
Edited on Wed May-27-09 04:13 PM by LeftishBrit
What does amaze me is when progressives occasionally cite him approvingly. Yes, it's good that he's against the war (so is LePen). No, that doesn't make him any sort of moral authority; or even preferable to the neocons - they're all the same, except in detail.
