Palin's Hometown Newspaper Declares the Antichrist Will Be Homosexual

I guess it's what we should expect from Wasilla, but the Frontiersman has run an op-ed by a Baptist minister based in part on a passage in Daniel: "Neither shall he regard... the desire of women...."

And one more thing: Sodomy is the only sin for which God came down from heaven to destroy. Though God dealt with many other sins in various ways, there is no other for which he came down from heaven to verify and destroy. In the New Testament, sodomy is declared to be "against nature." And of the men, Paul in Romans 1 says they leave "the natural use of the woman...." In effect, there is no greater sin against God than to reject how he made you, and no greater sin against women than to reject how God made them.
But will the Antichrist be a homosexual? Having seen what the Bible says of sodomy, we have no further to look than the book of Daniel, chapter 11 to find our answer. It says, "Neither shall he regard... the desire of women...." As I said at the onset, I am not the first to draw attention to this, but the verbiage is clear.


I checked my King James Bible, and the word Antichrist appears nowhere in Daniel, but I'm sure that's just an oversight. That Daniel was such a slipshod prophet.

I don't like to slander a whole town, but in my many years of doing court transcripts, it's become unmistakable that an overwhelming number of sexual crimes, particularly against children, come out of the Valley, and Wasilla in particular. I don't know what the problem is out there, but they've definitely got "issues."

Here are just some of the reasons I am against the homosexual ordinance.

It would allow any man to dress like a woman and use any public women's restroom. Ladies, do you want that to happen? If not then you should contact the Anchorage Assembly and show up at the June 9 public hearing.

A man in a highly visible sales job could come to work dressed like a woman.

A person of either sex who indulges a taste for extreme sexual promiscuity and pornography during working hours could not be stopped or fired even though it damages the company's image.

Maybe, worst of all, this ordinance would allow a man who teaches a second grade class or any grade to show up as a woman in the classroom and the School District could do nothing because of this ordinance.

Therefore making my response regarding this idiocy a resounding, "So What?".

Oh right - being guilty or innocent of sin is more important than being guilty or innocent of a crime, I guess.

The Supreme Court ruled that homosexual, sexual relations (when between consensual adults) is protected under the constitution. So whether the "Anti-Christ" is gay or not is no more relevant than his/her favorite ice cream flavor, unless one considers the regulations of the Bible overrule the formal laws of our government and constitution...

Guess I'm proving my theological naivete in the assumption that I don't see sin and crime as interchangeable or even generally equal - unless formally documented as such.

That doesn't mean that I agree with all behaviour that is not formally considered a crime. There are certain unethical, harmful acts that I believe should be crimes - or at least considered and debated as such - but aren't.

Obviously, no one in Wasilla has EVER committed adultery or theft. From what I've read, both are no more or less egregious than homosexual behaviour according to some version of the Bible, depending on which version is being referenced, etc.)

Heck there are Commandments about adultery and theft, but apparently the authors of these 10 (or so) rules didn't find homosexuality an issue worth bothering with, much less taking the time to chisel a rule about it in stone. That leads me to believe that, if anything, homosexuality is less significant than coveting thy neighbor's sheep, wife, house or whatever.... no?

What a relief that the "Anti-Christ", when he/she appears, won't be able to marry (thank "God"), but may very well have children - or even adopt.
