Aha, a blast of polling insight!
As of right now (7:20am monday) http://www.electoral-vote.com/ has its previous day results up, and I'm looking at various results from different states, and I notice that only one single group (besides Zogby, and even then he is often wrong) seems to fit with my mental collection of how things are going: American Research Group. http://www.americanresearchgroup.com/

Notice that of all the states it has polled, none of them seem 'wrong'.

Maine is 4 percent Kerry, this seems about right.

Maryland is 9 percent Kerry, this also seems right.

The midwest is terribly Bush, again, right.

Vermont, Hawaii, RI, MA, and California all have Kerry up double digits. These are all almost certainly right.

WA has kerry up 6, but Oregon only has Kerry up 2 (I think this one is a bit low)

I can't wait to see the next results from ARG, as these polls seem much closer to what I'm seeing on the streets.

1. Their results in each of these states reflect a national tie.
That seems about right.

3. What, you think Utah, Arizona, Idaho, ND/SD, and Nebraska are in play?

5. Notice who polled NJ.

I refuse to believe ANY polling organization called "Mason Dixon" can be remotely considered nonpartisan.

Edit: My comment about Mason Fixon stands, but I notice it was Survey USA who polled NJ in that one. Do some research: They've been so undeniably wrong about so many states I don't know how they claim credibility.

6. Yesterday the news said Maine was in play.
We do have a lot of fundies in Northern Maine. We can split our vote. In the southern part we have a lot of very rich people. Kennebunkport type towns.I am not so sure they vote in Maine.George father always keep Texas as his home even when he only owned a lot of land their and spent so much time in Maine.

8. I'm in the most Bushie part of MO
And I see it clearly trending toward Kerry at this point. We've lost a lot of jobs here. Unions have lost a lot of clout in St. Louis & KC.

They are saying the Gov race will be within 1% margin. Unbelievable considering the clout of the Blunt name and the fact that the current Democratic Gov has taken so much heat these past four years.

No MO is ultimately the show-me state and we've seen enough of Bush to know who he is.

9. NY seems very fishy to me. BARELY Kerry?
It went over 70% for Gore in 2000 WITHOUT 9/11!
