3. Oh good...
I look forward to seeing the clip. :)

Oh, and in case he tries to push the "he's going back on his promise" meme with respect to taxing benefits...

"The president made it clear during the campaign that he has serious concerns about taxing health-care benefits, and he has introduced his own revenue proposal, which he reiterated in today's meeting," spokesman Reid Cherlin said.

Obama instead urged senators to reconsider his proposal, which would raise federal revenue by reducing itemized deductions such as charitable contributions and mortgage payments for the wealthiest Americans, according to one adviser in the meeting. Obama included that idea in his budget, reporting that it would raise $317 billion over 10 years, a sizable "down payment" on the cost of health-care reform. But Congress immediately labeled the proposal a non-starter.

5. Obama does not support premium tax
Gibbs has it in yesterday's briefing. Try to make the decision between Kennedy's plan and single payer and pretend the "trigger" doesn't even exist. Treat the right wing plans with the same "fringe" mentality that the right treats the far left. That's what I think and Good Luck!

6. good luck
I caught your post of the video from a few weeks back and you did a pretty good job there.

Don't always go to the Canada comparison, either. Why not Japan, Germany, France & Italy? Most people don't associate Japan with "socialized" medicine.

12. Maybe connect the dots for the dolts
that our industry and small businesses are being ham-stringed by health costs and made to compete with all the other countries that cover health and retirement...how can we expect more businesses to set-up or stay here when they can go anywhere else in the world and not be stuck with health care costs and retirements? Every country has unions that are much stronger than ours and their businesses are not affected by the unions, but they can control costs because of health and retirements being covered by the state, not them.

15. I saw it, you gave it a good shot but Cavuto is another...
one of those bullies who talks right over you and cuts you off if he doesn't agree. There are those here who insist journalists should "take on" the rightwing, but this is what it looks like when people who should be neutral take sides-- not pretty at all.

(I saw this happen to someone I know on Nancy Grace trying to make a case for abolishing the death penalty-- it was painful to watch. She wouldn't let him get a word in edgewise.)

17. Thanks, definitely not my best effort
It is my fault. I was still in Bulls and the Bears mode, which is a much more congenial show, and he had in mind full tilt contentiousness. I take responsibility for that and I promise everyone I'll do better next time.

18. Thanks for going out there. Next time you might want to prepare alternate responses
depending if the questions or interviewers are in hostile e.g. Bulls and Bears mode, or if the questions or interviewer is congenial mode - so that you will be completely equipped to tackle anything that comes your way.

Be prepared to handle outright myths as well. Myths can be posed as questions by either hostile or congenial interviewers/quesitons.

Good job and you will do even better next time.:kick:
