which is nowhere. We haven't seen lobbying like the myriad parts of the health care industry can lobby. The various pieces of this military-industrial complex all own at least a part of 90% of the Congresscritters.

5. Congress is a POS, but I think that Obama will at least get us a public option. |

6. Clearly Profit Care comes ahead of Patient Care in America, |

or at least my experience with what is deemed, defended and supported as "THE ACCEPTABLE STANDARDS OF HEALTH CARE" in East Tennessee and southwest Virginia. http://www.wisecountyissues.com/?p=62

7. Other, because I honestly don't know at this point. I think it is going |
|
to come down to huge battle in congress, and a battle between congress and the American people. The movement for single-payer, or a decent public option, is growing each day. It's going to get damn interesting before it's over.

8. Mandatory insurance (with waivers) mediocre to weak public |

option that will still provide profits to the health insurance companies.
President Obama today...
"...If we do end up with a system where people are responsible for their own insurance, we need to provide a hardship waiver to exempt Americans who cannot afford it..."

In my dreams we get universal single payer health care.
In my hopes we get a real public option.
in my expectations we get a mandate to pay.
In my fears... We wont go there.
I am making my calls and sending my letters, and holding my judgment. There are 6 months left in the year for the Democratic politicians to prove what they are worth. Im not going to let up my pressure on them to do the right thing, but I am not going to judge them until I see what they produce on the topics I care most about.
