Ignore Cheney. His mission is to sow division and distract from real issues. |
|
He is the main hatchet man fronting the efforts of the typical power establishment that wants to derail the Democrats' and Obama's efforts at Health Care and significant reduction of troops in Iraq.
We need to see this guy charged for crimes and brought before Senate and House committees for sworn testimony, but it doesn't have to happen this year. The AG and others can continue to collect and collate all of his many official actions and statements and build a case against him.
In the meantime, he is not helping our cause as we talk about him. I know I'm talking about him here....but only to suggest we should be mad at the media for so willingly going along with him saying all of these outrageous comments and not challenging him on them more. WHO THE FUCK IS HE? HE'S NOT GONNA WIRE TAP YOUR HOUSE NOW, NYT Reporter....ask some fucking tough follow up questions. Shut him down.

4. what he says won't change what actually happened. |

and he is no longer in any power to enrich his friends. I'm sure he's able to enrich himself based on all of his illegal and harmful exploits. But it seems to me nothing rationally explains this press tour quite like the notion of trying to get all the attention and buzz and momentum off of the Democrats.

5. That is of a piece with the OP's point. |
|
Cheney covers his own corrupt butt and perpetuates the greatest transfer of wealth in history by keeping us divided and distracted.

where we stand from there. You are totally right it is far wiser not to give him any more of a platform as that is what he's craving for right now. It's the ultimate attention seeking and even in everyday life wiser not to entertain anyone trying to seek too drain all the focus in the room. Unless they sincerely have something to say of course.
