Judd Greg, What an asshole... |
|
Not sure where they have been hiding this asshole, but he sure fits the typical lying repuke bill. Even Mika, "of all people", couldn't understand how they would pay for "their better version" of the health care reform. Joe instructed her to just understand it was better and cheaper, while Gregg started the ole we are burdening our children's future bullshit. The only thing him and intern killer left out was religion (their standard backup when losing arguments).

1. did Joe say "Mika of all people"? |
|
It bothers me that the show constantly promotes Mika as some balance to Joe, she complains about spending every chance she gets.

2. Da Juddhead - it's a Granite State of Mind |
|
Juddhead is infamous in some Granite State circles for having tossed a poor widow out of her home in the middle of the winter so he could collect more, more, more, more MONEY.
How totally republicon.

3. He comes across to me as nothing but a whiner... always whining. I've often listened |
|
to him speaking on the senate floor and he sounds as if he's about ready to cry. Thank God he "changed his mind"(??) about taking the cabinet position.

4. Where do you stand, Gregg? With insurance companies' profits or with the American people? |
|
We know the answer to that, don't we?

5. All I know about Judd Greg is that he's a Republican |
|
and Obama thought so highly of him that he wanted to give him a high position in his administration.

6. I don't think Obama thinks highly of him at all |
|
I think he was trying to get the whiney asshole out of the Senate, and open the seat up to a Democrat.
I think Gregg is a snake, and was sent by the GOP to fuck with the census. When the administration realized this, they decided the Commerce Secretary would no longer be in control of the census. They strong-armed him into withdrawing his name.
Then there's also the matter of him possibly being involved in "pay to play", and other shady deals. I don't believe the decision for him to withdraw was his alone.
It was a huge mistake, in my opinion, for Obama to offer him a cabinet position, but I don't think Obama thinks very highly of the guy. At least not now, he may have when Gregg promised he would support all of the administrations policies.
Gregg is not an honest person, I do not know why more hasn't been made out of his personally profiting from money he earmarked to developments. Not only did he profit from them, but his entire family profitted from them. Thanks to a little loophole in the Senate ethics rules, this is apparently entirely legal.
