It makes me wonder if there are more right wing sleeper cells |
|
just waiting to become activated by other events. When will it end? Will we do what it takes to fight a war against these terrorists?

1. I don't think they're as overtly organized so much as individuals with nothing to lose. |

They see their little world crumbling and that the lies that they have been fed on and lived by are slowly crumbling at best and destroying what they claim to love at worst. A black man has been elected president and their voices are telling them that it's the end of the world and worse than being taken over by Bin Laden and Josef Stalin's genetically recombined clone.
Loners with few friends, no future, and no close family ties.
All those years and no input other than RW media telling them who is to blame and then fucking everything up...
You can almost hear them snap...

3. the Dr. Tiller killer sounded like he was part of a group--not a loner. |
|
I believe the confused, deranged "true believers" are the equivalent of the kids told to strap on the bombs.
I could easily see the Militia men or some other hate groups rising up to engage in more dramatic and higher body count killings in the coming weeks.
Especially if this guy lives and the trial takes place. Anything that happens to this guy will be seen as an affront to their world view of supremacy.

5. If things persist and we can see a pattern more than what appears to be loners I will concur. |

The Tiller killer has all the makings of a guy who was told to go to any means necessary and did.
The militiamen...well we haven't seen them really pull their shit out yet ala Oklahoma. I have a feeling we will...in a similar situation as last time. This time there will be no fucking denial that it is the same goddamn means-to-an-end as motherfucking Al Quada's means.

A single anti-abortion nut and a completely unrelated deranged anti-semite each shoot somebody and there's some terror network behind it?
Get a grip.

7. Two completely separate issues... |
|
Assuming that an animal rights group (or the KKK) organized a crime designed to incite terror, they could {b]maybe be called "terrorists"...but it probably wouldn't meet the legal standard for terrorism.
...and FR does NOT organize crimes designed to incite terror, anyway.

What makes you believe they might be?

11. we shall see. the more they feel dispossessed of their "rights" |
|
and are allowed to nurse a grudge against the society that is keeping them down, we'll probably see them attempt to organize into more cohesive heierarchy of hatred and violence.
I think there are some in planning stages which is WHY there is a freaking warning about these groups in the first place.
