I am wondering if Obama should do business with A-Mad if in fact he has stolen the election

Hugo Chavez was democratically elected. Even Raul Castro was chosen by way of the constitutional processes that they have in Cuba, even if that nation is not a democracy. So, they are legitimate leaders of their countries.

But if someone purports to represent a democratic country steals his way to a fraudulent re-election, I don't see where we should have to recognize that government as legitimate, and we should not do business with them. Instead, Obama could offer to meet with the real elected president of Iran, Mirhossein Mousavi, and conduct all governmental and economic transactions with him, and effectively bypass the fake Iranian government led by A-Mad.
