Iowa Clark supporters: Watch out for Kerry |
|
Kerry has been gaining momentum in Iowa in recent weeks, and some are now saying he could finish second instead of third. I think this is unlikely though, because Dean and Gephardt both have strong GOTV machines lead by Unions, unlike Kerry. Still, if Kerry comes in second in Iowa, he could capitalize on that momentum (unlike Gephardt, who has no chance in New Hampshire) and use it to hurt Clark's recent sucess. It's in our interest of this placing to happen: Dean 1st, Gephardt 2nd, and Kerry 3rd. Gephardt coming in second will instantly kick him out of the race, and Kerry coming in third will prevent him from gaining momentum in New Hampshire.

1. Geez....let the people vote. |
|
If people want Kerry let them vote for Kerry. If they want Gephardt let them vote for Gephardt.
Why urge manipulation? That's just not true democracy.

8. There are Clark supporters in Iowa. |
|
I won't spell it out, but they could caucus in a way to hurt Kerry.
But there are those who could caucus in a way to help him too.

3. You are absolutely right |

Kerry will get a huge bounce if he upsets Dean or Gephardt in IA. I hope the Clark folks in NH are working their asses off.

I'm just pointing this out to people. With all of Clark's recent momentum, I don't want his expectations to get over-inflated. I want my fellow Clark supporters to be cautious and know what's around the corner.

6. Hint: Brothers in arms band together |
|
Remember: Kerry and Clark wore the uniform. Also, Kerry has lots of union support in Iowa.

The Kerry campaign has been working in Iowa for several months now... I fear you don't know the extent of the Kerry GOTV initiative at all.

But Dean and Gephardt have GOTV machines that are stronger and more experianced (in Dean's case, it's the unions, NOT his new voters) at GOTV efforts.
