I Don't Think Republicans Are "The Party Of No" |
|
They're the party of slogans and sound bites. All their corporately sponsored "think tanks" exist to create talking points for their paid RW shills and repub politicians, not to come up with any solutions for current issues or any new policies.
They need to be called out and publically ridiculed whenever they spout some nonsensical bullshit like "Obama's World Apology Tour".

1. And that is a weakness. |
|
Congress is full of Republicans whose knowledge is limited to those talking points. They are products of their own propaganda. Intelligent and thoughtful people can see through it. It is important to counter them with the real facts.

8. Agreed. Real facts are the antithesis to their rhetoric. |
|
Like you stated, many of them actually believe the bs talking points that they create. It's frustrating seeing, hearing, and reading their propaganda being spread through the media as if it fact and it not being analyzed and exposed for the lie that it is.

2. They are really pushing that "apology tour" slogan. It's everywhere. |
|
Romney tried it out on Sunday.
Next, about health reform, they are pushing the soundbite of "$1.2 trillion"..... conveniently omitting that the estimate (and it is an estimate) is over 10 YEARS time. Reporters let that slide.

6. Yep, my GOP reps vote NO on EVERY piece of legislation... |
|
.... that attempts to help the less fortunate. Quite the Christian attitude those good ol' Sothern boys are displaying isnt it? (Sens Alexander and Corker and Rep. Wamp.)
I appreciate the OP, but the Party of No is the perfect description.

7. The Party of Distraction. |
|
They will do anything rather than face real issues that might require getting off their lazy, corrupt asses.
