Wrong Track/Right track... |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-17-09 08:27 PM by Drunken Irishman
This was brought up on CNBC today to attack Pres. Obama and prove Americans are not optimistic the country is heading in the right direction. The numbers given were 46% believe we're on the wrong track and 42% believe we're on the right track. There is minimal difference in this regard from their last poll, which was conducted back in April (43-43).
Unfortunately, what was not mentioned is how dramatic of a change we've see in these numbers since just last year. In October 78% of the country, according to the same NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, thought the country was heading on the wrong track, compared to only 12% who thought we were on the right track.
How again does this negatively impact Pres. Obama?
If anything, it shows we're more optimistic than just last year.
But no, the spin was that this is proof America has doubts over Pres. Obama's leadership. :eyes:
