On Morning Joe, Obama critic wants him to do more???
Even Joe was saying, what in the world do the Lindsey Grahams and McCains expect Obama to do? That amazed me... but I caught just a couple of minutes of a right wing apologist who was going on about how Obama should do more..aka.. call in the heads of all the internet providers and services like twitter, facebook etc.

Gees Louise fella.. they asked twitter to put off servicing, so the line could be open...and if they did more than that and ANNOUNCED it to satisfy little pachyderms on the rampage.. the revolutionary guard would be finding ways to yank all kinds of media from the protesters.

Every day and in every way, I am so thankful that McCain and the right did not get back in office.

We have been at war for 6 years now.. the right, that is all that they are about.. war war and lets start a new war.

Sometimes war is necessary.. WW2 point in case.. but with the right.. it is about the only thing they have.

1. We've done just the right thing;
that is, almost nothing. Let this people's revolution work on its own, and help when it asks for help, imo.

2. That Guy Was Such A Dipshit, Even Mika Jumped Him.

I thought he was going to burst in to tears when she accused him of just wanting to trash the Obama administration in any way possible. Jerk.....

12. It was funny that, right after he accused the left of "hating Reagan more than they hated Communism"
he whined at Mika when she said he was looking for any excuse to find fault with Obama, "I resent you accusing me of political motives!" So he accused an entire wing of a party of crass political opportunism, but his OWN political motives can't be questioned?

It was pretty funny.

13. Wow, that's a revelation..having Mika
pouncing anyone who was trashing the Prez. Doesn't she like to do that herself?!

I guess that would make that moment even more credible.

15. Yeah, I Was Stunned.

But that guy was really a whiny little twerp, mindlessly trashing Obama in as many ways as possible. I hope we see a lot more of him---with enemies like that....:)

17. I remember Dan Senor's name for
a long time now. I guess he was hired by Google and then when Campbell Brown and he got hitched.. but I had no idea he was this obviously vacuous.

Dan Senor's got a grudge..

<snip>>

"Why? Google alerts. I have Dan Senor on Google alert, which means I get an email anytime a new reference is generated about him online. I signed up for a slew of media-themed alerts back when was at FishbowlNY (including in no particular order: Brian Williams, Frank Rich, Judith Miller - who pings CONSTANTLY - Bill Keller, Anderson Cooper, David Remnick, and our own Arianna Huffington). My reason for signing up for alerts on Senor was personal, not professional: I know him. We both grew up in Toronto, and went to summer camp and college together. I have watched his rise with pride (and mixed feelings about his chosen party) over the years.

The point is, these Google alerts don't come all that frequently - at least, they didn't used to. However, in the days leading up to the anniversary of the start of the war, they started coming faster - Senor was suddenly everywhere, commenting optimistically on the state of Iraq, citing impressive voter turnout, overall benefits outweighing costs, and defending the CPA. A few days later he was on the Colbert Report painting a hopeful picture of Iraq and saying that things were "right on target" (watch here - it is worth a look, if only for Colbert's brilliant "showing both sides of the story" zinger)."

4. The truth of the matter they could have cared less about people like Neda
just weeks ago. She was an "extremist". All Iranians were. Moderate Muslims did not exist and we were over "apologizing" to the rest of the world.

He was Paul Bremer's spokesperson in Baghdad. I used to watch him lie then, too.

8. Dan Senor, as Bush administration chief spokesman of the Coalition Provisional Authority
that did almost everything wrong in Iraq. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Senor ) Now, that seems to be a great person to give advice.

I didn't catch the show - but from what is said on this thread - he is ridiculous.

The right's new infatuation for Mousavi is stunning. He is less pro-democracy and pro-American than former President Khatami. Fox News and right wing blogs, blasted John Kerry in 2007 for being on a Davos panel on the Middle East that included Khatomi. Romney, as governor of the state he hated, refused state protection to Khatami when he spoke in Boston in 2006.

9. Dan Senor, the Repig asshat, is co-founder of PNAC 2.0, or FPI

Here's a little connect-the-dots info on Dan Senor, married to the ever-so-lovely Campbell Brown.

In 2009 Senor co-founded The Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI), a neoconservative think tank begun with William Kristol and Robert Kagan, two founders of the Project for the New American Century.

So why would a guy who is in on the antics of the PNAC crowd trashing Obama? Who woulda thunk that?

10. Fox was on in the hotel dining room this morning and they said that
VP and SoS were privately saying they wanted Obama to do or say more, but they didn't say where that information came from. I suspect it came from their asses.

21. Every once in a while Scarborough says something I agree with.
This was one of those times. I'd like to ask any of those politicians calling for Obama to more strongly back the dissidents what they intend to do when the Iranian government proclaims the protests a U.S. incited plot and proceeds to start gunning people down.

The answer of course, is nothing, just like when Poppy Bush and the Congressional Clown College urged the Shiites in Iraq to rise up against Saddam Hussein and then sat back helpless as he sent in the Republican Guard.
