2. Looks like Bob Dole needs to make a comeback
Seriously though, they're completely screwed in 2012. Maybe Obama can run unopposed.

10. LOL! funny post... I actually think it will be Romney though..
who is probably a better choice than anyone on that list, unfortunately. Would be great to see any of them run.

13. Romney was my surefire bet for 2008
And yet, despite having the big advantages of experience as an administrator of a state and having lots and lots of moolah, he still managed to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. He was pathetic as an actual candidate. So yeah, he's the "most likely" choice, but he's blown it before.

18. At this rate, my whitebread governor Pawlenty might be a shoo-in.
He'll sweep the "mulleted milquetoast" demographic.

19. I think he's announced he's not running for gov again simply because he'll have to back Franken
and the GOP will never forgive him for that.

20. Did anyone see
Richard Wolffe and David Corn discussing this with Chris Matthews yesterday? I think that Chris said "It's like an Agatha Christie book...ten little indians, 2012 people, they all keep getting knocked down!" I think Chris also said at the end "What a...strange group of people."
