3. When it is a Republican this is always the case. One of the Newspapers

had known about the story and spiked it. This bizarre "disappearance
forced their hand.

You can go back years and the Media does cover ups for Republicans.

days..wondering where the hell he was?..and the lies leading up to the exposure? On Father's DAy with those four little boys..how fucking selfish do you have to be?! Right..we're talking about sanford.

5. Unlikely. I've thought all along that he was running away from a breaking scandal.

My bet is a journalist and/or his wife was about to out him, so he flies to Argentina to spend one last precious interlude with the mistress (though from his comments at the presser, it seems he may be "in lurv" with Ms Buenos Aires.)

6. I just got home and saw it on the news, so I missed a lot of the coverage

But damn, it seems like a lot of reporters are kissing his ass on this. Sure, it's a "sad" story and I feel sorry for his family, but they are freaking PATTING HIM ON THE BACK for giving a "compelling admission" or some bs, as if he had a choice. He was caught like a dirty birdy, and the crime was really in the coverup.
