Did you just see that on Rachael.. The "birthers gone nuts"
Edited on Mon Jul-20-09 08:37 PM by Peacetrain
I cannot even explain it.. but sieg heil was the only thing left out..

EDIT TO EXPLAIN.. apparently the crazies that used to go to Palin meetings, are now turning up at regular republican townhalls.. and demanding that the President be investigated over his birth certificate. This was Delaware. When the congressperson said Obama was a citizen, the crazy birthers demanded that everyone there say the pledge of allegiance .. and they did :wow:

and how everyone got scared and started shouting it out at the top of their voices.. including the congressman..

It was like the Pledge was a substitute for putting their fingers in their ears and chanting nah, nah, nah...I can't hear you...

Batshit crazy and a bit scary.

She would have hijacked the meeting by instantly starting a Simon Says game right after the pledge. She does crazy things like that, and in this case, I believe it would have shut down the hot heads.

And frankly, I think the anger is not really about a birth certificate. I think it's about the fact that Obama is not a lily white man.

41. I was thinking about the crazy woman holding up her hospital birth certificate as if it were legal
Does she not realize that is NOT a certified document? Only the state can give you a certified birth document that you use for all legal purposes. getting into college, passports etc. What she was holding up, is a gift from the hospital, suitably to put in your baby book etc, that many times get lost in multiple moves.

The birthers are too dense to even know that the hospital birth certificate, just like the fancy marriage certificate that many people get at their wedding, is just a piece of paper. It has no legal standing.
