If and when Bush hits back, I hope they go with the flop-flop meme |
|
And they WILL hit back...with something. Hell if I know what it's going to be.
But over the next couple of weeks Kerry is going to be shedding this flop-flop image. As his message gets out people will slowly begin to understand what he's been saying all along- and if Bush tries to hit back with the flip-flop bullshit, it's just going to be biting on granite. That the beauty of repetition- eventually, even the really dumb people have to learn and accept.
To tell you the truth, I don't even know what Bush is going to hit back with. The only thing I can think of is Kerry's post-Vietnam protesting- but short of calling him a traitor, I don't even know how they could really hurt him with it. It just fits in too well with his anti-Iraq-war position, now (if one feels it appropriate to call it that).
Make no mistake, though- these neocons will do ANYTHING it takes to retain power. So...I hate to say it, but there might be only one thing left that they might do.
They'd better not, though. They do that, and there's going to be more than just hell to pay.

2. IMO, flip flop doesn't really cut it.. |
|
while all hell is breaking loose in Iraq. It's too petty.
Bush is going to have to defend his record if he wants to win, not call Kerry names. But he can't defend his record, therefore he can't win. It's all down to the dirty tricks.

3. Some how I wish Dean was running. He would have something to say. |
|
Bush will say anything to win even if it is not the truth. Some how I feel Kerry will not say what he really thinks any more than Gore did. I think these parties are to well controlled by big guys to do anything off the mark. I think we sort of ride up and down waves and this country has not gone down far enough to wake up and start up the wave yet.

4. A week ago I agreed. Today I don't. |

John Kerry has foundhis voice and is giving back better than he gets. Even the Talking News Heads have noticed and acknowledged.
As far as what 'we' will and will not do, well that's not up to Kerry, or Bush, or Edwards, or Cheney, or Dean, or McCain, or anyone else except you, me, and we.
