Why does the GOP love the military and police so much when they are ran by the government?
Has anyone heard their explanation about why they love the government run military and VA hospitals but hate a public option?

Except they are just assholes?

2. I'm sorry, but you have mistaken them for people who have actual principles.

The only principle they seem to hold sacred is hypocrisy. For example:

Why do they espouse family values and constantly get entangled in sex scandals? Sometimes sex crimes?
Why do they espouse small government and then spend more than any government in history? (Bush years)
Why do they wave American flags in red towns, yet they all buy almost exclusively Chinese made clothes at Wal-Mart, while liberal towns have more small businesses?
Why do they say they believe in the concept of the individual yet constantly work to define a Marxist dialectic style political divide?
Why does Erik Price call himself a Christian Crusader and then start a company who's logo is the mark of the beast which murders people in the area of the historical nation of Babylon?
Why do they espouse the free market and then have no-bid contracts, as in the Iraq war?

These are the questions Republicans will be asking themselves in coming years when they try to dig themselves out of the deep hole they are currently placing themselves in.

5. Except they don't love them. They like Blackwater better. They underfund the VA & other programs...

And, oh yes, the GOPers are major *holes.
