Inflame Anti-American opinion, Mr Obama? Release the damn photos, and douse the anti-American
Sentiment....

By prosecuting the damn people who ORDERED it.....

http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/08/10/obama-petitions-high-court-against-releasing-prisoner-abuse-photos-2/

Lawyers for President Barack Obama’s administration have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to block the release of photos showing prisoner abuse by US soldiers in Iraq.

In the petition, President Obama writes, “there are nearly 200,000 Americans who are serving in harm’s way, and I have a solemn responsibility for their safety as Commander-in-Chief. It is my judgment … that releasing these photos would inflame anti-American opinion and allow our enemies to paint United States troops with a broad, damning and inaccurate brush, thereby endangering them in theaters of war.”
......................

America has killed over 1 million innocent people in Iraq.

ONE MILLION.

We have maimed & wounded millions more.

We kill civilian populations in the Middle East, in any area we have a conflict.

I think they are already pretty inflamed.

You want to douse the anti-American sentiment

Release the photos, publicly decry the actions, demand prosecution of every damn HIGH LEVEL official who ordered the execution of this atrocity, and SHOW the world that America will be responsible for its actions.

You want to protect the troops....THEN GET THEM THE FUCK OUT OF IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN

Sunlight is the best disinfectant. And, healer.

The truth shall set you free.

You cover this up, you fail to hold the executive branch accountable for high crimes, then this becomes YOURS. You become stained.

2. Gross, unrecommends for truth, justice, and the 'American' way...

Covering up the photos is NOT to protect American troops.

It is to protect the people who ordered it from being held to account.

They don't want the American people to remember the fact that we are still involved in a illegal occupation started on lies.

They have been trying to close that can of worms since the beginning of the administration.

How quickly we forget....
