When healthcare reform passes; will we recognize it? |
|
I am starting to think that what we end up with will be so twisted out of shape from what we all hoped for, we won't recognize it.
I fear all sides will meet in a room and agree to throw the public a bone to placate us. A bone so chewed on that no meat will remain.

1. What makes you think that? |
|
It couldn't have been something Obama has said. He has stated that he will not sign any bill without a strong public option.
Who are you listening to if not the President?

3. would he really walk away? |
|
or would he go for an incremental step towards reform, while blaming congress for the weak-kneed provisions addressed.
This is politics and He might want to claim a weak victory rather than face a strong defeat.

2. Don't worry, you'll get constant reminders from the DCCC/DSCC in their fundraising calls. |
