When healthcare reform passes; will we recognize it?
I am starting to think that what we end up with will be so twisted out of shape from what we all hoped for, we won't recognize it.

I fear all sides will meet in a room and agree to throw the public a bone to placate us. A bone so chewed on that no meat will remain.

1. What makes you think that?
It couldn't have been something Obama has said. He has stated that he will not sign any bill without a strong public option.

Who are you listening to if not the President?

3. would he really walk away?
or would he go for an incremental step towards reform, while blaming congress for the weak-kneed provisions addressed.

This is politics and He might want to claim a weak victory rather than face a strong defeat.

4. Nope, he has stated that he will not sign a weak bill
He will send a bad bill back to Congress.

2. Don't worry, you'll get constant reminders from the DCCC/DSCC in their fundraising calls.
