good grief, rick sanchez on cnn parroting gop ad about sheila jackson lee.
he's going on and on about her talking on the phone while some turfer is reading her script...
how insulting!

geez, you think sheila might have felt insulted standing there listening to the same ol' turfer scripted lies over and over again?

these dems have a LOT more patience than i would!!!

1. I don't know how anyone can legitmately defend her actions.
Answering a cell phone at a town hall while someone is addressing you? Sorry, that is straight up rude.

5. Sorry, but she should be called out for what she did.
It's no secret as to what these representatives should expect at the town halls.

If they don't want to deal with the circus then they shouldn't bother scheduling one.

8. What she did was rude, but...
saying she took the call because she didn't want to deal with the circus is a bridge too far. She was only on the call for a matters of seconds.

There are a tremendous number of people who have no manners when it comes to cell phone usage. I don't read anything more into it than that they are just being rude.

20. From what I read, it was a total of 3 calls
in 45 minutes.

That's unacceptable. And yes, rude.

7. Getting on the phone during a town hall you are running is dumb beyond numb
ESPECIALLY, knowing the attention they are getting. What an out of touch action that was!

I'll stretch to defend ours but to attempt wipe and dangle on this is silly. She pulled a brain dead move here.

9. what would be hilarious is if the Town Hall Whiners all got the same script
and at different "Town Halls", different "dissenters" used the exact same grammatical error because the person writing the script didn't proofread it well ...
