Secret Service detains Birther Asshat who has sign saying "Death to Obama"

A man who was holding a sign reading "Death to Obama" Wednesday outside a town hall meeting on health care reform in Hagerstown, Md., has been turned over to the Secret Service.

Washington County Sheriff's Capt. Peter Lazich said the sign also read, "Death to Michelle and her two stupid kids."

Lazich said U.S. Secret Service agents took the unidentified 51-year-old man into custody Wednesday afternoon after deputies detained him near the entrance to Hagerstown Community College.

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- A highway pursuit of a man who allegedly made threats against the White House turned into an hours-long standoff Thursday with Los Angeles police.

The ongoing confrontation near the Federal Building's parking lot -- not far from the UCLA campus in Westwood -- prompted police to close streets and evacuate nearby apartment buildings and offices, the Los Angeles Times reported.

4. I watched this thing live...this guy took 3 hits of tear gas in an enclosed vehicle..

and did not give up....the robot literally filled his car with tear gas/pepper spray 3 times and yet in the end, he was physically removed from the car and was able to walk away under his own steam..I would have never believed it was possible...but my question was...was this some sort of diversion tactic...the way they got him out of the vehicle after 8 hours, seemed strange, because they should have been able to do the very same thing, 6 or 7 hours earlier...didn't make a lick of sense to me to tie up that many police assets like that, for so long, for something resolved in the manner it was...I believe he was in his 50's too...56, I think...nutz abound...wb
