No shit. For real, and I believe it. While I think the idiotic protests, screamers, birthers, deathers and general nutbaggery has gotten a lot of copoprate media attention and play, and may have provided some small movement in favor of opposing h/c reform, I think, in the end, it will and IS backfiring. The problem is, it IS leading to REAL debate. In the end THAT'S GOOD. The battle has just begun, the big guns are getting into line, and the oppossition has shown their hand, and it's ALL LIES. EMPTY LIES.

The data:

2. Good news
I wish they also had some stats on how people feel about health care reform, but I can celebrate this.

Wouldn't it be amazing if we picked up some more Senate seats in 2010? It would be awesome to really have a filibuster-proof majority. Imagine what we could accomplish.

12. Yes, the fact that the independents are holding steady is VERY significant
Edited on Fri Aug-14-09 01:58 PM by rocktivity
because it means that Operation Screamer is NOT winning them over. We have our core and they have theirs, but it's the independents, "real" moderates and disgruntled ex-Bushies who put Obama over, and we mustn't let their numbers shrink.

7. I love those numbers
It's not because they're large, because they aren't, but they're so consistent.

8. Solid. Almost Eerily So
And considering what's been thrown at him over the last few weeks, those numbers are quite frankly, amazing.

What great news! Perhaps the Democrats have seen this and other polling data that tells them to remain calm and let goopers and their henchmen shriek and howl.

Somebody do us all a favor and post the "Chill Out" Photo.
