Among the Democrats NOT to blame:
Edited on Sun Aug-16-09 07:52 PM by brentspeak
1) Every member of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congressional_Progressive_Caucus">Congressional Progressive Caucus

2) The many NON-conservaDem Senate Democrats (there are, however, a few unofficial members of the conservaDems, such as Charles Schumer and, believe it or not, Max Baucus and Kent Conrad)

3) Howard Dean, Gen. Clark, even Bill Clinton

4) There are many non-Progressive Caucus House Democrats who have been excellent, too

5) There are other Democrats, too, not currently in office, who've been out there, fighting the good fight (names off the top of head escape me -- feel free to pitch in)

Unless i am mistaken, she seemed passionate to try to get a bill out of the house that had the public option.

5. Nice try.
Kooch went on FauxNews the other day talking about how he couldn't support the bill and we needed to go back to the drawing board.
