Every day I think the media is finally going to report...
the important news of the day. Boy am I stupid.

The news coming out of Iraq is unbelievable, yet the breaking news of the day is "CBS News admits to unreliable source."

So the fuck what?

I mean Jesus Christ. CNN had a headline up this morning that Terrorists are flooding into Iraq. It was up for maybe five minutes. Republicans, Europe, Democrats, and Military leaders are all talking about how poorly things are going on in Iraq, and all we get is some fucking news on Brittany Spears getting married.

What's going on in Iraq is history in the making, and these fuckwads at CNN, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, and Foxnews pretend Paris Hilton's book is news.

Amazing!!!

Everybody needs to pray that John Kerry gets elected. This world and country is falling apart.

1. So is your head beaten and bloody sore enough yet? QUIT EXPECTING
the media to do that in our current situation. Ain't gonna happen. We have to change the Telecommunications Act of 1996, bring back the Fairness Doctrine and implement a few other standards (like not allowing cable news to call itself *news* if it's opinion.

4. If it makes you feel better, at any given moment...
... far more American cable watchers are tuned into "Animal Planet" and "The Food Network" than MSNBC or CNN.

Deep breath... :-)

5. Let 'em know!!
If you care, contact the networks and tell them that you care about Iraq, not about CBS!

7. media
Anyone know what happened to the network idea that Gore was
involved with? We need to let the money men behind this
network idea know that we will support it...we need it to
counterprogram all the always right rightwing...b/c win or
lose...there will be even more endless propaganda from GOP-TV.
