2. Whatever can one say. My sympathies to the family..........
and renewed prayers that Kerry can both win and get us out of this hellish situation. I'd like to think a first step would be convening all potentially influential Arab leaders of the region and developing some backdoors plans for effectng a solution.... Better a secular regional Arab coalition government, than one put in place by Americans.....

6. This Will Not Get 1% of the Coverage With CNN That the CBS Story Is.
CNN has been a criminal participant in working up the American people to go to war in Iraq to covering up the horror and civil war that is unfolding there.

From Wolf "NeoCon Blitzer to Aaron Brown's "great fun, great fun" cheer leading the bombs dropping on the first night of the illegal U.S. invasion of Iraq, CNN has been an accomplice with the Bush Administration.

So the beheading of an American will not get the coverage that the Karl Rove mandated assault on CBS will. Not even 1%

10. Yet CNN International's international viewers are getting Walter Rodgers
almost nonstop right now, reporting the horror in detail, reporting with great passion and deadly seriousness. He's also reporting about the militants' motives, other hostages held, methods of kidnapping, etc.

Dear God, this poor man, this poor man, and this poor family. I am ill.

8. "Freedom isn't Free."
Just keep telling yourself, "We're spreading freedom and democracy to the Iraqi people. We will stay the course. We will not waver. The terrarisss will not win. Not on my watch!"

12. comments of a freeper who saw the video
"DO NOT WATCH THIS video if you get the chance. I have seen the others and this one was 10 times worse. I just had to go take a drink, get a breath of fresh air. For a minute I thought I might actually vomit.

I feel nauseuous after watching this. I strongly recommend you DONT watch this, it's that horrible. I pray the family does not watch this.

17. I think it would affect me so deeply that I really wouldn't know what to
do. Just reading about it is bad enough. I just read the article. And, Lord, now I don't even know what to do or what to think. It is so terrible.

Unfortunately, they took him at his word and are bringing it on.

15. Anyone aware of the history
Of the Algerian Fundamentalist Muslim Groups.

They viewd all citizens of Algeria who worked for the government, or didnt resist it as enemies of Islam and their preferred method of execution was to have their hostages their hostages throats slit and then beheaded by a Muslim halal butcher.

This is nothing new, but it struck a great deal of terror into the citizens of Algeria during the period that the Algerian secular government lost elections to the fundamentalists, and then declared the election void.
