Anyone see The Daily Show's bit on the Emmy's last night?
Stewart showed a film he called, "The first negative political ad in American history".

It showed men who rowed Washington across the Delaware River (Colbert and company in powdered wigs and colonial garb), describing themselves as "Oarsmen for Veracity". They each maligned George Washington in different ways, and Colbert even said, "Washington doesn't care one whit about his fellow man. I know. My slave told me."

Pricless stuff!!!

1. Hysterical! Bush makes it so easy to make a buffoon out of himself,
he's so transparent with these grade school tactics of smearing the other guy. John Stewart just calls him out on it.
