I will not watch the Sunday talking heads...
I am still grieving in a sense. So many of our hopes for health care were tied up with the energy that Ted Kennedy used in keeping the needs of the 20 plus percent in front of the reality of the 80 percent who have access to care.

So much wrapped in a flag covered box, that was lowered into the ground last night.

Health care will pass, but not without a real battle. But it has been a real battle for forty plus years now.

I am not in the frame of mind, to hear the talking heads opine on Senator Kennedy.

We still need that resonate voice in both houses to bring them along. President Obama cannot do it alone.

I wonder who it will be.

1. I am watching MTP because it's a remembrance. Kerry on now talking about Teddy.
Maria Shriver just gave her personal thoughts. Very good so far.

3. I watched the services yesterday, enjoyed hearing those who spoke, Teddy laid to rest in darkness,
...and that was just the right amount of coverage.

Like you, I don't need to hear others rambling on.

4. Never watch that drivel- and am better informed (and have lower blood pressure)
because of it.

5. I stopped watching the Sunday talking heads
with the switch to dtv. My Sundays are happier, more peaceful and more productive as a result.

I'm finding the online and radio weather reports aren't cutting it, though. So I *may* get myself set for dtv this fall, before blizzard weather sets in.

6. I usually skip the Sunday talking heads
in favor of CBS Sunday Morning. Lots of unusual stories about interesting people and places, and very little politics.

7. To answer your question - I believe it will be Al Franken
He's already stepped up to the task, and we know from his campaign what a dogged fighter he is, as well as classy and intelligent. Plus, he's not a career politician, so he's less isolated than most.

8. It has to be Obama!
He is, after all, the President.

9. Rep. Weiner (D-NY) knows the healthcare issues inside out.
And he even appears on Fox and leaves them stuttering. He is, by far, the most articulate and forceful spokesperson for a public option whom I have seen in the media.

For starters.
