And anyone who has ever been polled knows how painful that is -Letterman
Actually canvassed!
So this street has been canvassed I guess I can do others in the neighborhood.
I told him we were voting for Alan Keyes for President
:evilgrin::bounce:
No I didn't I said Kerry and Bobby Scott for the House.

1. I've never been polled before this year |
|
and I've had 4 telephone polls (not canvass) this year. The cell phones are reducing the pool of people to call. The last one seemed to be a question of whether Nader being on the ballot or not would influence my vote. I live in Oregon and the question of him being on the ballot is at the Oregon Supreme Court.

12. Was it automated with just three questions? If it was, they are doing |
|
that in all the swing states.
Who the "they" is, I don't know. Either Shrub or Nader, what's the difference.

|
Ohio, top swing state--
1-How likely are you to vote this November? (dead cert) 2-Who would you vote for if the election were today? (KERRY!!!) 3-Altho you are not planning to vote for Nader at this time, what is the chance you would consider voting for him? (snowball in Hell)

states.
Did you vote in the Democratic primary. I did in the Iowa caucus. I was wondering if they were focusing on Democratic voters who participated in the primaries and caucuses.
edit to add - also in Minnesota.

19. I haven't missed an election I could vote in since 1976 |
|
Maybe one--we had just moved and I don't think we'd met the residency requirement and it was school board members where I didn't know the candidates.
Could be targeting Democratic households--all three voters here are known Dems.

Interesting. My first thought was that maybe Nader is considering dropping out. Or maybe just the Bushies trying to figure out what's up in swing states.

If you and ten friends KNEW you were going to be part of a polling group... And all of you said you were writing in Alen Keyes... I'm willing to bet the media would be talking about the 'surprise surge' that '10% of the likely voters said they were writing in Alan Keyes'... You know, if we could get the poll people to only poll us, I bet we could get Keyes elected in a write in... evilevilevilevil

Winsome Sears-good grief first GOD told her to leave the General Assembly and then GOD told here to run for Congress.
I have seen Booby Scott at two functions and he doesn't even mention his campaign.

today, twice. Once by someone asking questions about bush and Kerry, the presidential election and Washington state and another on line by PEW about Dean. Unfortunately neither had the choice of loathe associated with bush.
