Just saw this report on CNN about the rabid handful of wingnuts following the so-called "Tea Party Express". It's both scary and laughable, but too serious to be a laughing matter.

Some are deluded, most are very angry, some are extremely rabid, and all of them seem quite confused about what the issues are.

Among the people interviewed there is a very angry middle-aged man, almost violent, screaming at the top of his lugs:

He ain't my president, people!!!"

Although if you want to be nitpickey, Lenin's general doctrinal innovation and addition to the field of Marxism is the development of a theory of imperialism and the subsequent conclusion that it is the newly industrialized nations where capitalism is its weakest and most able to be overthrown. Take things even further and have a society in very early industrialization and a base movement among the peasantry and you have Maoism. Both imperialism and Mao's struggle for "national liberation" had resonance in the parts of the world that had been colonized.
