Poll question: who could vote for a man who raised money for the creeps who stole 2000?
Seriously, could you vote for a candidate who raised money for the folks who stole the last Presidential election?

10. Jeffords has built a progressive track record
I'd vote for Jeffords over Dean and Clark.

3. It's funnier now, 'cause he'll kick harsh booty after helping them
(This poster assumes you're referring to Clark)

So, yeah, I would still vote for him. Clark was an independent when he soke at RNC conventions and fundraisers. He had no political ties then so why would he care what party he helped. Anyway, he's awesome, there's no convincing me otherwise; especially through slyly insinuating a negative association. Shmear politics=BAD, focus on the issues!!

But could you vote for a man who's model VP is Cheney because he's incredibly competent and thinks bush is doing a fine job on the war on terrorism?

because he said other things as well?

If the whole quote matters, why not the whole quote in your original question?

9. Heh
"Newsom claims to be a a loyal Democrat. But look!" said a campaign flier mailed to San Francisco voters pointing out that Newsom once contributed $500 to the San Francisco Republican Party.

"In 2000, Newsom gave money to the Republican Party one month before Bush was 'elected,'" according to the flier. "In fact, Newsom appeared on an advertisement urging voters to elect Bush/Cheney."

No word yet whether failed Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore was aware of Newsom's alleged Republican tendencies ahead of his trip to San Francisco to campaign for the Democrat and keep the mayor's office out of the hands of the Green Party's Gonzalez.

the way you stated this post really does give me pause... not saying I have changed, but just.... I haven't thought about it in those terms.
