Barack Obama has done it again
Tonight President Obama dramatically reset the health care debate and changed the He looked like the bold, decisive leader we all know and support. Opponents of real health care reform were left looking petty, with nothing to offer but cynicism and defeatism. President Obama not only made the case that there is a serious problem with this nation’s health care infrastructure, but he stood firm, strong as an oak, for the important principles and policies that will be necessary to guarantee health care for all.

He threw down the gauntlet for the public option, making the case articulately and leaving no doubt about his resolve to see it in the final bill. The American people and the important players in Congress now know why a public option is so essential for real reform.

All in all, an excellent address that moves us closer toward a major overhaul of a dysfunctional health care system.

2. I can tell you...
that in my neck of the woods it won't make any difference what he says. They're brainwashed with so much bullshit right wing crap that they can't think straight.

4. Summary: 5% may qualify for 'for profit' public option. It's the lawyer's fault.

8. What a simple speech. But a great one. I think they'll be studying it
a hundred years from now...after the USA has had health care reform for 100 years.
