...I didn't see the speech but it sounds like KKKons are on their heals.

Yeap, it's good to focus the energy on the HCI execs right now, they're low hangin fruit.

5. Was it the part where Obama said that Ins. cos. provide a legitimate service...
and that he does not want to put them out of business? Was that the demonizing part?

8. No, Frank Luntz said Obama associated "Bad People" with insurance execs by saying...
..."they're not bad people they just want to make a profit" as if making a profit on peoples health is 180 degrees from bad people.

I haven't heard the speech yet but that was great framing by the Obama team

10. Maybe it was the part about them dropping people when they get sick.
Edited on Wed Sep-09-09 09:38 PM by Connie_Corleone
Or maybe it was the part about not insuring people who have pre-existing conditions. Or perhaps it was the part where he said the insurance companies jack up your premiums in order to make bigger profits.

Selective much?

6. "might work"? You have to be f'n kidding me. OF COURSE it will work!!!!
Edited on Wed Sep-09-09 09:36 PM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
Everyone in America basically hates the insurance companies! Is this new to some people? Anyone hear about the AG in Californis investigating them for close to 30% denial rates?

Obam made a tactical decision to side with Pharma over Insurance and it was the right choice. Over the long haul, only one will survive intact.

12. Yeap, Pharma can take a shave now and get their prices held later. You're right about the HCI execs.
...everyone and their mother hates them even if they have insurance

7. Luntz and Hannity both looked sick to their stomachs. They are expecting "an initial bounce".

9. Everything that is good for America depresses Hannity.
Why would that be?

11. I think this time Luntz might be wrong about the "back to where it's at now" because of the base
...right now has definition on what Obama wants.

I'm looking at the FAUX news reaction and can tell Obama hit a home run
