Wilson is being persecuted in a big way from all corners right now. No need to pile on...and make the little smarmy fucker into a disgusting political martyr.

6. True. They're embarrassing themselves without our help |
|
It probably is the right move politically. Still, if there was ever a case where censure was appropriate, this is it! I'm tired of politics getting in the way of justice!

It would be overkill 'cause he's already dead.

But in the sane public's mind he'll ALWAYS be the "one who called the President a Liar"

leave the child to go off and sulk and act a fool. Those who want thier pound of flesh can put thier money where their mouth is and donate to his opponent in 2010, instead of complaining that Pelosi isn't as vindictive as they are.

9. Why bother? Let everyone else pile on and stay clean and above the fray |
|
Censure would just lead to whining and sympathy.
Screw a pound of flesh when you can let everyone else shred him completely.

all right. joe wilson is not going to be a martyr, though, he's going to lose in 2010 with his opponent Rob Miller getting cold hard cash from all over the country. http://www.actblue.com/entity/fundraisers/19079

The Dems are showing class where the reps wouldn't. They are acting like the adults. :applause: Let it go. The guy did Obama a favor.

21. Oh, good, another one day story for the Dems.... |
|
What is it going to take for Dems to start understanding the modern media and the lack of attention span of the American people?
For one thing, Pelosi should have let Wilson roast a few days over the fire of a potential censure, instead of instantly removing any doubt.
This should have been a two, three or five day story. Now it is gone.
